Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho – Ben Tre – Chau Doc (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Begin your 3-day Mekong Delta adventure with a morning departure from Ho Chi Minh City. Travel to My Tho, the gateway to the Mekong Delta, with a short stop at a local rest area featuring beautiful bonsai gardens.

Upon arrival, visit the historic Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of the oldest and most impressive temples in Southern Vietnam. Admire its unique architecture, which blends Vietnamese, Khmer, Chinese, and European influences.

Continue to My Tho Pier and board a motorized boat for a scenic cruise along the Tien River. Enjoy views of traditional stilt houses, floating fish farms, and the famous Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise Islands.

Arrive at Thoi Son Islet (Unicorn Island) and stroll through peaceful village paths lined with tropical fruit orchards. Visit a local family home, sample seasonal fruits, and enjoy a live performance of traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music.

Experience local rural life with a visit to a honey bee farm, where you can taste fresh honey tea and learn about beekeeping. Adventurous travelers may also take photos with pythons raised by local farmers.

Day 2: Chau Doc – Tra Su Cajuput Forest – Can Tho (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast, visit the sacred Ba Chua Xu Temple, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Southern Vietnam, followed by a visit to Tay An Pagoda, renowned for its distinctive blend of Vietnamese and Islamic architectural styles.

Continue to the spectacular Tra Su Cajuput Forest, one of the most beautiful ecotourism destinations in the Mekong Delta. Explore the flooded forest by boat and immerse yourself in a pristine ecosystem rich in biodiversity.

Glide through emerald waterways surrounded by towering cajuput trees while listening to the sounds of birds and wildlife. Climb the observation tower for panoramic views of the 900-hectare forest, home to numerous bird species and rare wildlife.

After lunch, travel to Can Tho, the largest city in the Mekong Delta.

After breakfast, walk to Ninh Kieu Wharf and board a boat to visit the famous Cai Rang Floating Market, one of the largest and most vibrant floating markets in Vietnam.

Cruise along the bustling waterways where local traders sell fruits, vegetables, and agricultural products directly from their boats. Discover the unique trading culture of the Mekong Delta and observe daily life on the river.

Continue to a traditional rice noodle workshop to learn how local vermicelli noodles are produced using time-honored techniques.

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh city – Mekong Delta – overnight in Can Tho city (Meal: Lunch)

• At 08.00am, our tour guide and driver meeting you at your hotel and leave Ho Chi Minh city. It takes one hour and thirty minutes driving to get to My Tho town. One the way, travelers will have chance to see these beautiful landscape along the road such as the green rice fields, the peaceful Vam Co Dong river and the busy Long An town. En route, we will stop at Mekong rest top where you can take a rest and see bonsai garden.
• Arrive to My Tho town, visit Vinh Trang pagoda an oldest ancient one in Southern Vietnam. Known as the largest pagoda and the most special architecture in Mekong Delta. It’s architecture was influenced by Vietnamese culture and Khmer’s culture as well as European’s architecture.
• After visiting Vinh Trang pagoda, our driver will take you to the pier boat for getting on a motorized boat. Take a leisurely boat ride in Tien river to enjoy fresh air, to see the peaceful life of the local people, Passing the stilt house, the fishing floating farm, the four Islands ( Dragon, Phoenix, Tortoise, Unicorn)
• After passing Rach Mieu bridge, we disembark at Thoi Son Islet that locates on Phoenix Island. Take a leisurely walking on the village paths, visit local people’s home, orchard garden and enjoy seasonal fruits while listening to traditional Southern folk music.
• Then visit honey bee farm and taste delicious honey tea with lemon that is really good for health. Local people also have python farm for those tourist, who like adventure can take a photo with pythons.

Day 2: Cai Rang floating market – Chau Doc (Meals: Breakfast, lunch)

• After breakfast at the hotel. At 06.00am, transfer to Ninh Kieu wharf. Tourist will have chance to see morning streets market with many products homemade such as fruits, vegetables, cake… are sold on the way to the wharf.
• Cruising in the river to the busy Cai Rang floating market, one of the biggest floating market in Southern Vietnam. Visitors will be surprised to explore “the method of the business” in the floating market areas. It is really impressed.
• Then transfer to Cai Son village paths to look at: the rural activities of the local people, through the canal, rice paddies, orchard. Stop at Mr Ba Cong’s orchard, walk around the garden and enjoying fruit, drinking tea, chatting with the local people to see the Mekong inhabitants’ life. Having lunch in orchard garden. Then continue running along the village access the river, visitors sometimes saw the rural activities of the local people… You feel like relaxing at the peaceful and quite garden.
• Return the city, visit Can Tho market and Binh Thuy ancient house village.
• Proceed to Chau Doc. Dinner on guest’s account. Overnight in Chau Doc

Day 3: Tra Su sanctuary bird – floating village (Meals: Breakfast, lunch)

• Having breakfast at the hotel. At 07.00am, take a nice boat trip through the floating village to visit a fish farm to see how the Mekong Delta people raise fish in their floating houses. Visit the Cham minority with their traditional weaving village, followed by a local Islamic Mosque.
• Then proceed to Tra Su sanctuary bird which is renowned for not only its almost-untouched natural beauty but also its sanctuary of flora and fauna. Take a boat trip into the forest, you will immediately feel like you are harmonizing with nature because of all of the impressive pictures of cajuputs, the fragrance of the flowers and the music-like noise of birds, insects and animals making people relaxed and comfortable. From the observation post, you can overlook the forest with an area of nearly 900 ha, home of many birds and animals, including some rare ones.
• Have lunch in the forest. Relax on a hammock or experience Monkey Bridge.
• Return to Ho Chi Minh city. The tour end around 18.00
