Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta – Can Tho

(Meals: Lunch)

• 08:00 AM: Meet your tour guide and driver at your hotel and depart Ho Chi Minh City. Drive approximately 1.5 hours to My Tho Town, passing beautiful landscapes such as green rice fields, the peaceful Vam Co Dong River, and the bustling Long An Town. Stop at a Mekong rest stop to relax and see the bonsai garden.

• Arrive at Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of the oldest and largest pagodas in Southern Vietnam, showcasing Vietnamese, Khmer, and European architectural influences.

• Transfer to the pier and board a motorized boat. Cruise along the Tien River, passing stilt houses, fishing floating farms, and the Four Islands (Dragon, Phoenix, Tortoise, Unicorn).

• Disembark at Thoi Son Islet (Phoenix Island). Stroll along village paths, visit local homes and orchard gardens, and sample seasonal fruits while listening to traditional Southern folk music.

• Visit a honey bee farm and enjoy honey tea with lemon. Adventurous travelers can take photos with pythons at a local python farm.

• Take a hand-rowed sampan through canals lined with water coconut palms, a symbol of the Delta.

• Cruise to Ben Tre Province and visit a coconut candy workshop to see handmade candy production.

• Lunch at Mien Tay riverside restaurant.

• Explore peaceful villages by horse cart, then cruise to Unicorn Island to visit a crocodile farm and the remains of Coconut belief.

• Return to the ferry and proceed to Can Tho City, where the guide will introduce local cultural symbols, dining, and entertainment spots.

• Check in at your hotel. Evening at leisure to explore Tay Do Night Market, Ninh Kieu Wharf, or taste local dishes.

Optional: Overnight at a homestay in Can Tho. Meet a friendly local host, enjoy traditional local dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 2: Cai Rang Floating Market – Tra Su Sanctuary – Chau Doc

(Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)

• 06:00 AM: Board a motorized boat to Cai Rang Floating Market, observing morning activities along Can Tho riverbanks, including fishing and waterway transport.

• Explore the market and witness traditional trading using an “offering pole”.

• Visit a rice vermicelli factory and surrounding orchard gardens. Try crossing a bamboo bridge built from a single bamboo tree.

• Cruise back to Ninh Kieu Wharf at 09:45 AM.

• Visit Can Tho Market and Binh Thuy Ancient House.

• Depart for Chau Doc, visiting Tra Su Sanctuary, a pristine forest and bird sanctuary. Take a boat trip into the forest to experience nature, fragrance of flowers, and sounds of birds and wildlife. From the observation post, enjoy views of nearly 900 ha of forest home to rare birds and animals.

• Dinner on your own. Overnight in Chau Doc at a hotel or homestay.

Day 3: Chau Doc – Phnom Penh

(Meal: Breakfast)

• 06:30 AM: Transfer to the ferry and board a speed boat to Phnom Penh.

• Arrive at Sisowath Tourist Dock around 1:30 PM. Tour ends.
