Cu Chi Tunnels Half Day Tour

Introduction

The Cu Chi Tunnels are preserved at Ben Duoc and Ben Dinh, about 70 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City. This vast underground network, built during the struggle for independence, became famous for its role in military victories and as the former liberated base area of Cu Chi (1960–1975).

When visiting, travelers can not only explore the tunnels but also discover cultural and historical landmarks:

• Ben Duoc Temple of Martyrs, honoring heroes who sacrificed for national liberation

• The Temple basement, with nine themed exhibition spaces titled “The persistent and unconquerable people of Saigon – Cho Lon – Gia Dinh”

• A forest of precious timber trees collected from all three regions of Vietnam

• Symbolic miniatures such as One-Pillar Pagoda (Hanoi), Noon Gate (Hue), and Nha Rong Wharf (Southern Vietnam)

• Morning Tour: 8:15 am – 2:30 pm

• Depart for Cu Chi and explore the underground tunnel system, once home to hospitals, living quarters, command centers, and supply routes used by the Viet Cong during the American War.

• Visit Ben Duoc Temple of Martyrs and surrounding historical structures.
