Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Cai Be Floating Market – Vinh Long – Chau Doc (Meal: Lunch)

07:00 AM – Our tour guide and driver will meet you at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, and you’ll begin your journey to Cai Be, a town located in the Mekong Delta. En route, the guide will introduce you to the distinct cultures of the riverine residents, offering insights into life along the Mekong River.

08:30 AM – Stop at the Mekong Rest Stop. This is a scenic area where you can enjoy the local landscapes of Southern Vietnam, wander through a lush garden, and sample some delicious regional dishes. It’s an excellent spot to relax before continuing your journey.

08:45 AM – Continue your drive to Cai Be.

09:30 AM – Arrive at Cai Be Dock and embark on a boat cruise to visit the bustling Cai Be Floating Market, where you will see boats filled with fresh fruit, vegetables, and local agricultural products. The floating market is a lively and vibrant experience unique to the Mekong Delta.

After exploring the market, the boat will cruise along the Tien River, taking you to visit local villages. Walk through village paths, passing through lush orchard gardens, and visit local family-run businesses, where you’ll see how bricks, crispy corn, and rice wine are made.

12:00 PM – The boat will take you to Tan Phong Island for a delicious lunch in a local riverside restaurant.

After lunch, take a short rest and then embark on a bicycle ride around the village, exploring the orchard gardens. Here, you’ll see various tropical fruits such as jackfruit, rambutan, pomelo, and logan.

Next, experience the tranquility of the Delta by taking a ride on a hand-rowed sampan through narrow creeks. As you float along, enjoy the peaceful beauty of the island and its natural surroundings.

In an orchard garden, enjoy a traditional folk music performance while relaxing and taking in the rural atmosphere of the Delta.

03:00 PM – Cruise back to Cai Be Dock, where you will visit a land market before proceeding to Chau Doc.

Upon arrival in Chau Doc, check-in to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure exploring the town. Overnight in Chau Doc.

Day 2: Chau Doc – Sam Mountain – Tra Su Cajuput Forest – Long Xuyen – Can Tho (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

07:00 AM – After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Sam Mountain, a natural landmark of Chau Doc. Visit the Xu Lady Temple and the Cave Pagoda, two important cultural and spiritual sites that offer beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

Then, take a boat trip through the floating village to visit a fish farm and see how the locals raise fish in their floating houses. Next, visit the Cham minority village, where traditional weaving is practiced, followed by a stop at a local Islamic mosque.

**Continue your journey to Tra Su Cajuput Forest, a tranquil and untouched natural sanctuary renowned for its rich biodiversity. Board a boat and drift through the lush forest, surrounded by the scent of cajuput trees and the sounds of birds, insects, and other wildlife. From the observation post, enjoy panoramic views of the forest, which covers nearly 900 hectares and is home to various rare species.

After exploring the forest, transfer to Long Xuyen for a quick stop at a crocodile farm before continuing to Can Tho.

En route, stop to visit Binh Thuy Ancient House, a historical and well-preserved house that gives insight into the colonial architecture of the region.

Once in Can Tho, take a motorized boat to a village in Cai Rang District, where you will stay with a local farming family. After arriving at the village, take a leisurely bicycle ride or walk around the area to experience the rural lifestyle of the Mekong Delta residents.

In the late afternoon, join the family in preparing a traditional cooking class and enjoy a delicious homemade dinner with fresh local dishes.

Day 3: Can Tho City – Cai Rang Floating Market – Soc Trang – Con Dao Island (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)

05:00 AM – Wake up early and board a motorized boat to explore the Cai Rang Floating Market, one of the largest and most iconic floating markets in the Mekong Delta. As you cruise along the river, you’ll witness the daily trading activities of locals who transport products by boat using traditional “offering poles” to display their goods.

Return to the hotel for breakfast and then proceed on your journey to Soc Trang, a charming town famous for its ethnic diversity and pagodas. After arriving in Soc Trang, you’ll board an express boat to Con Dao Island (Departure: 1:00 PM – Arrival: 3:30 PM).
